This lovely poncho is breezy and carefree, like a summer's day at the beach. The pattern is named for one of my favorite poems, "Moon Song," which is about the moon fishing the seas for dreams. The openwork stitches of this pattern create a lightweight poncho that doesn't hide your outfit, but accents it perfectly. Made with a beautifully colored yarn, this long, generous poncho is a great addition to almost any outfit. The colors of the yarn are a lovely blend of tans, browns and tiny flexs of yellow. The poncho hangs asymetrically. The ends and neck are fringed with the same yarn.
Difficulty Level: This pattern requires a beginner's understanding of crochet.
Finished measurements It is sized to fit older teens and adults; the finished measurements are about 42" across by 46" long, not including the fringe.
