Round Button with shank and Raised Cross in solid bronze . 7/8" (2.2 cm)
Poor St. Andrew. We won't go into the details of why this cross was named after him. It is however, the origin of the 'X' shaped cross on the Scottish and British national flags, and in this iteration a simple and ancient looking design.
This is made from a stamp I hand cut, and it has a beautiful, handwrought, almost Medieval look to it. It's a great match to the subtle texture of your handknit items. I'll make you as many as you like, please just indicate the quantity at check out.
This was made from bronze metal clay, fired at a high temperature to create a solid metal button. It was then polished, patinated, and hand polished again to give it a warm golden brown glow,
Please hand wash, machine wash on your most delicate cycle in a mesh bag (no dryer), or dry clean.
I'm discontinuing these, so when they're gone, they're gone :)

Shipping & policies
I ship worldwide. Generally items are sent USPS First Class or Priority with insurance to the US, Australia, Canada, and European Union. To other countries I ship flat rate Priority Mail International envelope. If you need Express delivery, please convo me and I will do my best to accommodate you; you will receive a Paypal invoice for the additional postage.
I do my best to calculate accurate costs, but it can be hard. Please know that my policy is to adjust downwards the shipping cost when I can. "Additional items" sometimes require their own boxes, or are heavy, which can push costs up. I will do my best to be fair to you.
For some international deliveries I may discuss best shipping practices before shipping, and reserve the right to require insurance and/or a signature in certain cases if I think it safest. Also, please be aware of your country's custom regulations, as in some instances you may be responsible for duty charges. I mark packages accurately as to their contents and value.
I will send to your Etsy account address unless I get a convo at the time of purchase giving me other instructions.
I accept Paypal for payment, and credit cards through the Etsu Checkout system.
Sales within Texas are charged 8.25% sales tax.
Returns & exchanges
I will of course accept returns on in stock items, but please choose carefully and thoughtfully. Since all my pieces are one of a kind - when they are not in the shop they are being missed by other Etsy shoppers. I would appreciate being notified within five days of your intent to return, and receive the item back within two weeks after your receipt of it.
I welcome custom orders! I do quite a bit of custom work, and have found it to be a lot of fun. If you see something that is almost but not quite what you need, contact me. Or if you just think of something you want and looking at my work makes you think I can make it, contact me about that too! Those are usually the best ; )
