Item details

"Swans" Is my original design for punch needle or traditional rug hooking and is hand drawn on quality monks cloth. This design is 25" x33.5" with a generous border around the pattern for hooking ease. The edges have been zigzag stitched to prevent fraying.

"Swans" was inspired by a print in a vintage British children’s book, and the beautiful swans in the idyllic town of Stratford, Ontario. A wonderful pattern to hook with its graceful swans, meandering stream, quaint stone bridge and a little English cottage that beckons you to come in and stay awhile, perhaps to enjoy a cuppa tea!

This listing is for the pattern on Monks cloth; the line drawing and hand coloured picture shown in the listing are for reference only and is not included. Prefer Linen? Linen is available, message me for pricing.

Additional policies

****Custom Orders are Welcome! ****
I love doing custom work so please send me a message to discuss your ideas!

Each rug is carefully hand crafted by me one loop at a time. I often dye and over-dye the wool to achieve the beautiful colours in my rugs. Because of this each rug will have small variances in design and colour paying homage to their true hand-made nature. These are not flaws and they serve to enhance the value of the rug as the unique pieces of art they are.

All designs and patterns are my originals, are the copyright property of me and are for one time use only, not for reproduction. If you are interested in one of my patterns, or a pattern that you do not see listed, please contact me and I’d be happy to discuss it with you.

Every monitor displays colour differently so the colours of your order may be slightly different in person than what shows online. Please keep this in mind.

We are a smoke-free home but not a pet free home. I do however take care to avoid excess pet hair being hooked into your rug.

Any questions and comments are welcome.
Hope you enjoy Red Maple Ruggery.
