Hand spun from the discarded silk left overs from sari production in India. This waste silk is collected and then woven into these vibrant yarns by women in local villages creating important income that these women wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to generate.
A brilliant and popular addition to craft baskets for wrapping embellishments, knitting, crochet, jewellery, cards, weaving - projects are only limited by your imagination.
Width and colour variations will differ slightly due to the hand spun and recycled qualities. Price is a hank of 100gms / approx 80 metres or 87 yards of 100% pure silk.
