If you can chain and double crochet, you can make Dancing Diamonds! This is an easy pattern of simple squares crocheted on the diagonal. When you put them together, they create diamond shapes, or the look of a mock mitered square.
Directions are included for two different sizes, using worsted weight or chunky yarn.
You will need 1440 yards of worsted weight self-striping yarn and an H hook for a blanket measuring 32" x 32".
For a blanket measuring 36" by 36", you will need 1040 yards of chunky self-striping yarn and a J hook.
Of course, you can always make more squares of either weight yarn to make a larger blanket.
You will be able to download the pattern PDF as soon as your payment clears.
