Do you love to weave? Here is a draft for an overshot scarf made from 8/2 Tencel and self-striping sock yarn. You'll need a 4-harness loom, a 12-dent reed, 2 shuttles and the willingness to have a little fun!
Overshot is a classic weaving style brought to this country by the early European settlers. You'll find the classic blue and white overshot coverlets in museums, antique stores and old homes. Today, overshot is being re-imagined in all kinds of ways. It's still a beautiful, fun style to weave.
Scarf dimensions:7" x 70"
Materials: 900 yards 8/2 Tencel; 350 yards self-striping sock yarn (such as Mini Mochi)
Equipment Needed: 8” or wider 4-harness loom; 12 dent reed; two shuttles
Sett: 18 ends per inch (epi)

Payment is via PayPal only at this time. If you use an echeck through PayPal, your order will not be shipped until the echeck clears (usually 4-6 business days).
Immediate payment is preferred, but we all know life happens. If you cannot pay at the time you place the order, please convo me to let me know when to expect payment. Returns & exchanges
My goal is that you be be 100% satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns if the item is in its original condition and it is posted from you within 5 days of receipt. You must convo me to let me know you are returning the item and the reason. S&H are non-refundable and you will be responsible for the S&H charges incurred in the return and in the original sale. If you convo me, return the item in its original condition and if I receive it within 10 days the purchase price will be returned to your PayPal account.
Custom work may not usually be returned for a refund unless there is a defect in the item.
If there are any problems, please do not hesitate to convo me. I would like the opportunity to discuss the problem and work to a resolution that is acceptable to both of us. Please allow me to attempt to find a suitable resolution before feedback is left.
Pricing of items may fluctuate with the materials used. Custom work will be priced the same as comparable items, but you will have to wait on your custom work. The wait time will depend on my schedule at the time.
