Item details

This digital download (300dpi) listing offers you images of a genuine French note from 1946.
It was written in Cornimont, a commune in the Vosges department in Lorraine
in northeastern France.

Unfortunately I took German in High School (Lot of good it does me now, living in Arizona how I wish I took Spanish!).
So. . . . .I am not sure what it says.
It would probably have been written to a Morris E. Sorenson, but I cannot make out who it is from.
Having trouble with the last name. (Marie-Paule ???).
At this date Mr. Sorenson was more than likely in the Military in Europe.
(I have a lot of WWII stuff from him.)
The note is a four page note written on two sides of the folded, aged paper.
There is slight loss of ink at the folds in the paper.
The scanned images that you will receive will show both sides of the note on four sheets.
The original note is four pages measuring approx. 5 1/4" by 6 1/2" each page.

You will receive 4 seperate scans, one of each page.
You can resize them after you get them if need be.
The image you receive will not have a watermark.

These images are owned by me.
You DO NOT have permission to sell or distribute these images nor any part of them.
You are free to use these images in your personal artwork any way you desire.
You may use these images in creations of art by you, for you or for resale
as long as the images are a part of the creation and you are not selling the images as a whole.

We have a large amount of ephemera from the Sorenson family and will be sharing
much of it with all of you. Some digitally and some will be the actual paper.
