We have natural colors such as: white fawn brown black grey and some combo colors, If you need a specific color tone of one of these fibers, please.... convo me! Our natural colors Never Run when washed and rarely fade if left in the sun forever... it was wet and in the sun on the cute alpaca!
Roving can be used for knitting and crocheting as is or for handspinning or for either wet or needle felting.... the possibilities are almost endless.
If you are a fiber crafter and you haven't tried alpaca yet, you need to get your hands on it as soon as possible and feel the luxury of alpaca!
This roving comes in Three Grades. Fine, Medium and Coarse. Fine grade is: ooooooohhhhh so soft!, medium grade are: the rest of the herds blanket fiber and can vary quite a bit but GREAT fiber and even lengths, coarse grade are: the seconds (necks) and thirds (legs and bellies) off of our alpacas, sometimes in the coarse grade the colors are mixed when we shear. This fiber tends to be quite coarse and isn't considered suitable to wear next to your skin. It is however, cheap and softer than expected! If our fleeces are really messy, we gift them to the birds!
We raise alpacas here on our beautiful ranch in Wyoming! We also run our own fiber mill, so all of our fibers are made on site here in Wyoming. Take a little piece of the west to your neck of the woods!
