Mulberry Silk is also known as Bombyx silk or Cultivated Silk. The best quality silk you can buy. It is produced from the silk worms of the Bombyx Mori Moth. Their diet consits of Mulberry leaves. Mulberry silk is produced in a controlled warm enviroment.
These can be split down into finer layers and are easy to work with for spinning or incorporating into felt pieces.

These feel so amazingly soft. I'm afraid I succumbed to trying one on (I know I'm pathetic), my daughter told me I looked like an idiot, but it was so nice to having something on my head that didn't make me itch like hell. Guess I know what I'll make with it, then!
