In honor of Star Wars 36th birthday, Popcorn and Snowcaps is proud to present "The Leia." This is a pattern for a replica of the senatorial gown worn by Princess Leia in Episode IV, "A New Hope" for your AG Doll! . The sewing level: intermediate
This downloadable PDF pattern includes a detailed step by step photo tutorial and full sized pattern pieces to create the hooded senatorial gown and belt.
I love this dress. When I think of Star Wars this is the first costume that comes to mind. Unlike some of my other costumes which have certain stylistic changes this dress pattern is meant to be a replica of the original gown worn in the movie. For all the fans of the originally movies, this design is sure to please!
Go-To Go-Go Boots- A costume staple must! I have been surprised at the sheer number of costumes that are paired with knee-high boots in the movies. Just for fun watch any move that has any type of fantasy theme and count the number of boots!
This is a PDF photo and pattern tutorial for the basic pleather/vinyl boot with velcro closure that I pair with many of my costumes.

These Boots are fun to make and they get easier the more you make them. With all the pleather/vinyl choices out there you could have a blast making a doll closet so full of boots Imelda Marcos would turn green with envy! Best of all they are way cheaper to make than to buy!
The pictures show the finished products. These items are digital files. You are not purchasing completed costume pieces. This pattern contains four files, two tutorial and two pattern pieces.

Pattern was easy to follow and I was able to adapt it to my great nieces " baby" with out any problems. The boots were easy to follow and I think look adorable. I can't wait for my great niece to see her baby Leia. I will post more pictures later.
