These chicks hatch in spring and will bring colour to your life. They are the perfect guardians of breakfast eggs and are a great fill for Easter baskets, but they also like to play with your kids and have a nap on your shelf.
The body is knit in the round complete with the head - comb, waddle, beak and wings are knit flat and sewn on later.
Techniques used are knit in the round, knit flat, simple in- and decreases.
The gauge is unimportant for these chicks, but I recommend to use needles a size smaller than what the yarn calls for to prevent the fiberfill from showing through.

"I am a complete beginner, only knitted 1 scarf before this chick! The instructions were very clear and simple! My chick looks really impressive! It's nesting its eggs at the moment!! Thank you Doreen!!" (Review by agou14 on Etsy)
