This Agfa Pioneer Camera is in pretty rough shape. I left the camera as found, the buyer can clean it or leave the patina on, as you prefer.. The shutter works on both speeds, bulb and instantaneous, so with a little TLC the camera might work again.
I tried the shutter and the film advance, both work, no guarantees on accuracy. The strap is still intact on the left side of the camera. I am selling the camera as a display, it's up to the buyer if you want to try to use it.
The camera is mostly plastic with some metal parts, including the film door and the view finder.
There is rust on the inside and outside. The film door hinge is broken, but it does stay closed, if you want to use the camera you can tape it closed for safety and to seal out the light.
The inside of the film door says to use Agfa PD 16 film. Also, the red outlined gold label inside the film door reads, LOGAN CAMERA SHOP Everything Photographic Stockton, Calif.
No batteries required.
The outside of the film door across the bottom reads, AGFA ANSCO, BINGHAMTON, NY MADE IN U.S.A. In the middle of the film door is a diamond shape with the camera name Agfa in cursive.
Agfa made the Pioneer cameras from 1940 to 1952.vintage camera
The camera measures approximately, 5 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches deep.
The shipping to U.S. lower 48 states is $10.00 USD.
