Handmade ceramic basketball sewing buttons are painted in a rich, leathery brown, with black lines. These athlete sew on sports ball buttons are a great way to represent your favorite sport, or the sport your kids, grandkids, or family members love. Fun accent to a sports related quilt (my buttons have been used on a t-shirt quilt for a customer's granddaughter, and it was really neat) or scrapbook, and a great gift for a high school athlete.
This listing is for ONE sports ball button measuring 7/8-inch diameter x 1/8-inch thick (about the size of a nickel)
Looking for a different team sport? I have soccer, softball, waterpolo, volleyball, tennis, and baseball buttons available as well.
Buttons feature: Two holes for sewing Made of kiln fired ceramic clay NO silk screening or decals used
Front and sides of these buttons have a high gloss, durable finish. Buttonholes are a consistent width for easy machine sewing because I hate breaking needles. Back is unfinished.
Handmade from start to finish of ceramic clay by One Busy Lady and Six Great Kids. Each is shaped, dried, smoothed, painted, fired, glazed, and fired again for a bright, beautiful, strong button. The whole process can take up to 10 days from start to finish. Because these are hand made, no two are exactly alike.
Buttons are machine washable, but I recommend turning your garment inside out or placing garment in a pillow case before washing just to be safe.

UK customs fees can be steep, so please be aware. Courtesy of a UK customer: "The lower limit is £15 and then import vat is charged. The killer is the £8 handling charge charged by Royal Mail."
I ship to your address in your Etsy and Paypal accounts. Please double check and make sure they're right. If they don't match, please let me know which one to use. =]
PayPal is the easiest option, but I accept checks, money orders, Etsy, and credit cards, too. Just email me, and we can make arrangements. Items won't ship til payments clear.
Did you know that you don't need a PayPal account to pay through PayPal? Pretty nifty, eh?
