This is a PDF pattern to make the 4 pillow floor lounger as shown, it is not a finished item.
This is a simple tutorial for making a 4 pillow lounger with an envelope back for inserting the pillows. As shown, you can make this lounger for less than $20 INCLUDING the pillows!
Of course if you want, you can also make it with the gorgeous designer fabrics out there, or even outdoor specific fabrics if you want your kiddos to be able to use it for lounging in the grass as well. I will give the amounts needed in yardages and basic cutting and prepping/hemming instructions for that method, but the photos all refer to the least expensive and simplest way to make this lounger. Once your 44" wide fabrics have been cut and prepped, the photos pertain to all methods of the making the lounger.
Use it on the floor for watching movies, or fold it over a multitude of ways for all kinds of lounging!
It would also be a great solution if you're having family visit over the holidays. Make a simple, inexpensive lounger for each of the kids, then use a spacebag or similar product to store the pillows with the Holiday decorations when they leave :-)
Completed lounger is approximately 80" long.
This tutorial is written for those with basic sewing skills in mind. I am always available by email to help out if you need it.
Tutorial instructions include written directions as well as photos to make the lounger shown. I also include fabric requirements for designer fabrics as well as basic written insructions for making the lounger with 44" wide fabric.
Also included in the PDF are the resources for the materials that I found to make this lounger for under $20 (and I promise it wasn't in discount bins or garage sales!)
I got the lounger shown done in about 2 hours from start to finish!
Pattern will be available for instant download after purchase.
Please let me know if you have any questions - thanks!
I love this pattern. I never thought of buying a sheet and using it instead of fabric by the yard. What a cheaper option. Thanks for that.

Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.
PAYPAL is still my preferred method of payment. You can use your credit card through Paypal without even having to sign up for an account, just select Paypal as your payment method, and checkout as a 'guest' once you are redirected to the Paypal website. Paypal offers both Buyer and Seller protection.
If you choose credit card rather than Paypal before you checkout, you will be using the new Etsy checkout system.
Sorry, I no longer take cash, check or money order as payment.
