Art of Irish Lace is alive in gorgeous crochet creations of super talented crochet designer and instructor Viktoriya Isakina who lives and creates in Ukraine.
This little girl’s dress designed by me and created by Viktoriya is brought to you as an easy simplified representation of Irish Lace.
This project uses basic crochet stitches and various shades of color to create intricate-looking (but trully easy to make) designs. The tutorial contains 10 pages of stitch-by-stitch written instructions, step-by-step progress photos as well as some vide instructions. The project requires basic knowledge of crochet. User: intermediate It is super easy for intermediate crotcheter and can even be tackled by advanced beginner.
Please note that although this project has instructions to create a dress for 1 year old, it can be adjusted for larger sizes by enlarging top portion and adding number of motifs. It uses about 250 grams of yarn / thread weight equal to crochet cotton #3. Additional tools / materials; Darning needle, scrap fabric or paper for pattern.
