Item details

A beautifully matched design takes these Idaho stone beads into the extraordinary
category - even the back of the beads have matching patterns. A hint of lavender sneaks onto the stones which are predominately khaki green and white. These Willow Creek beads from the Pacific Northwest measure:

25.5mm x 5.0mm - each stone's approximate size
1mm hole drilled front to back
Glass polish on all sides

We did not mine this jasper ourselves but, did go to Idaho to meet the mine owner and he allowed us to "mine" through some of his!!!! Willow Creek Jasper is mined 15 miles north of Eagle, Idaho on private land (NW of Boise, Idaho). The Jasper forms in the center of thunder eggs. One theory about Willow Creek Jasper's formation is these thunder eggs formed deep within the earth, then were thrust up through large volcanic vents where they accumulated and solidified. Willow Creek Jasper is known for its subtle soft and delicate pastel colors and egg or orb patterns. Premium quality Willow Creek takes an extreme high gloss… like liquid glass.
The fifth picture shows how the matching beads are presented. Besides a plastic bag and the cotton in this gift box made from recycled materials, the set is wrapped in recycled cushioned paper and placed in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box to be mailed to and sound:)

We welcome you to browse through our website and blog for pictures of a few of our family mining adventures as well as information on the stones we make available on our online gallery: Feel free to contact us with any questions. We love to talk rocks!

Additional policies

We are not professional photographers but, make every effort to accurately represent each item. As hard as we try, colors of the stones may vary due to differences in computer monitors.

Please realize it is common for large natural untreated stones to have healed fractures or pits. Typically, we feel this simply adds to the organic nature of a natural stone. Occasionally, there will be a stone with fractures or pits that are more pronounced and do not meet our standards for top quality. These stones are still unique and salable and are made available as 2nd Drawer items at a reduced price.
