Looking for an advanced peyote stitch and herringbone stitch project using cylinder beads (Delicas) to create an eye-catching beaded necklace with fully beaded rope and clasp cover? Then this is the project for you!
This 23-page seed bead pattern / beading tutorial contains all the instructions you need to make this dramatic reversible necklace which includes a geometric pendant, geometric beaded bail and a beaded rope (with added clasp cover so your clasp can remain hidden).
Also included are full details on how you can vary the project to use a different mix of crystals or have the same beadwork on the back.
This pattern has text, diagrams and photos. All of my tutorials contain full instructions and tips as well as check lists for all tools, materials and techniques needed to help you shop and plan.
- Needle and thread of choice
For the pendant:
- Size 15 cylinder beads such as Delicas or Aikos
- Focal/ focals of your choice (I used 1 x 30mm and 1 x 20mm or 2 x 30mm Swarovski chessboard flatbacks #2035)
For the rope:
- Size 11 cylinder beads
- Small hook and eye clasp or sewing hook and eye or other small clasp
A knowledge of peyote stitch (especially increasing and zipping pieces together) is recommended. This project is an intermediate to advanced one.
I love to support and encourage individuals who make beadwork so please feel free to use anything you make from these instructions as gifts or to sell to support your bead buying habit!
