Item details

A mellor is a tool for helping you to apply goldwork threads and metals in embroidery although it's useful for most other embroidery techniques too!

The rounded ends and chamfered paddle end of this specialist laying tool make it a must for your embroidery projects: Use the pointed end for turning corners and helping your threads to lie flat, and the flat end for laying and couching threads (see last photo). Poke it, press it, guide it, smooth it and tweek it with this tool!

It has a gold finish and a hole at the end for attaching to a chatelaine or adding an identifier of your own.
