Item details

I am moving in August. I will be closing this shop sometime mid July. These plans will not be available after that. Sorry! Please pick them up while you can. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I have the work prints to share with you for the blue bottle ladder you’ve seen on my blog (sorry, it's now closed), Pinterest and many other websites. This is a great project and it’s been fun to see how many blogs and websites have picked up my pictures.

**** I used Budweiser Platinum Beer bottles for this art piece. ****************************

This is not a hard project to make. But, you will need to be able to measure, drill holes, cut wood and use a hammer and/or screw driver. All the parts necessary are easily obtained from your local hardware store.

Your finished project should measure approximately 5 ½ feet tall, 10 1/4 inches wide and 3 ½ inches deep.

You can use old or new boards which ever you prefer. The measurements on the prints are for 1" X 4" pieces of lumber.

The first photo is what you will make from these plans. A couple pictures show you what I’ve added just for fun to make them look a little different or “fancier”. You can add what ever you would like or leave them plain. Either way has sold very quickly for me at shows!

What will you get if you order these plans?

a) 6 – 8 1/2 X 11 inch work sheets. The main sheet shows you the detailed information of the entire piece, plus the instructions. The following pages show each individual piece of wood and its measurements.

b) A cover letter will come with this to explain some of the secrets to make this easier to build. ****** I just realized this cover sheet sends you to look at my blog. I closed that blog a while back. SORRY! But, if you get on Pinterest and look me up, you will find a board that says Art I Made. There you will see most of what was posted on that blog. Thanks!!! Shell *******

*I worked very hard to get this piece built just right. It took several tries and many mistakes to get it the way I believe it should look. I had the prints professionally made so they can be easily read and followed. Please do not share these prints online (i.e.: blogs, facebook, etc.). Thank you for understanding how much work I put into this so you could enjoy making this too!

*Feel free to make these and sell the finished art piece any where you’d like EXCEPT shows
I am in or on Etsy or eBay.

*All rights reserved.
You may NOT resell the plans or copy them and resell those.

*Should you need any help while you are building this, just drop me an email explaining what you need or don’t understand and I’ll help you as much as I can.

*I hope you enjoy building this as much as I do. Just be ready for people to stop by and take pictures of your completed piece. It happens at my house all the time. Just smile and wave.

NOTE: Someone just pointed out the fact that the main picture has only 12 bottles in it and the plans are for 13 bottles. You can make this with as many bottles as you would like. I make this with as many bottles as my used wood will let me. Some of my boards are shorter. You can see in one picture the ladder only has 11 bottles in it. NOT A PROBLEM. Thanks!

*This ships First Class Mail. The mailing costs are included in the price of the prints.

*If you would like this shipped out of the United States please drop me a convo!

Let me know if you have any questions! AND Thanks! Shelley

Lightning-fast shipping! Very detailed, well-written plans and blueprints. So glad I took that Engineering Graphics class at IIT back in the 70's. It came in handy. Thanks for everything!

I use the good old post office.
All packages shipped after payment clears my bank account.
If you are outside of the U.S. please email me before you buy. We want to make sure the shipping charges will be okay with you.

I sent a package where the post office lost the contents of the box. When the buyer got the box there was a letter inside explaining they were sorry they lost it. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU: Please drop me a note. I will need a copy of that letter and a copy of the label on your box. I had great luck getting the money refunded in a short time. Please realize, any priority mail sent is only insured up to $50. Nothing else. Not a single cent more. If you paid more than that, you will need to buy insurance separately if you would like it. I rarely insist you do. YOUR CHOICE.

I'll take checks, money orders or Paypal. Which ever works best for you.
I do expect payment within 3 days of your purchase.
