We acquired many black and white photographs from the son of an animal showman in the 1940's. Walter H. Brent was "New England's foremost live animal lecturer and showman." See more information about him below.
For sale is a 7 X 5 inch black and white photograph of Mr. Brent himself! He truly was a dashing man, with slicked hair and a high sleeved white t-shirt. He is wearing a watch and is holding a long armed Gibbon monkey.
A few light marking on the white border of the photo.
Free of charge, we will also include a flyer for Mr. Brent's shows. Other information on the sheet reads, "This program has already been given over 400 times throughout New England and the East coast--and is especially arranged for audiences of all types. Mr. Brent's programs are illustrated by natural color movies and live tamed wild animals of all types. Many of these beautiful animals have been raised from birth by Mr. Brent and are as tame as household pets.
"Walter H. Brent is a graduate of Tufts College and has done graduate work at B.U. He frequently appears on TV shows such as Animal Fair, Living Wonders, and Hobby Lobby."
