My measuring machine says they break away at about 4-6 lbs.


This listing is for the black things in the picture. The black things are safety breakaway barrel connectors for making lanyards. I count them as the two pieces you snap together to make one lanyard is one pop barrel. example: In a bag of 25 you will have 50 pieces. Those 50 pieces will make 25 connectors.

total length when the two pieces of the barrel are connected together is about 3/4"

The picture shows the barrel safety locks on paracord and also on a light blue 3/8" ribbon.

These are pre-packaged by us and ready to ship in 1 business day or less.

optional read on ship costs: I did not include the shipping cost inside the item cost on this since many people buy multiple items from me often. The cost is the same when one item is purchased but when several items are purchased, there is a cost savings on shipping. Also I have a 'ship price guarantee' that says if you pay over $1 more than actual cost, I refund the excess. Simply put 'ship price guarantee' in notes to seller during payment. Example: many pounds of items could ship in a flat rate envelope for much less. The shipping calculator does not understand flat rate envelopes or flat rate boxes (but I do!!) I ship daily via USPS. All paid orders received today should be shipped in the A.M. If the listing asks for a choice, please know that I cannot ship unless I have your choice.

When a package is returned to me because of an incorrect mailing address, the product will be treated like a return. A refund will be given minus the shipping paid. The customer may place a new order using the correct mailing address.

Additional return information
Everything in my store can be returned for a refund if in new and unused condition. I refund product purchase cost but not the shipping/handling fee. When an item is returned that had no ship fee, the actual cost to mail the item to you initially is subtracted from the item price to calculate refund..

Refunds for excessive shipping charges: I often can use a flat rate envelope or box for multiple items. The cost savings is significant when shipping flat rate.
