Dia De Los Meurtos is my favorite time of year! In Tucson we have a spectacular All Souls parade at night that people come from all over to see. The purpose is to gather together and remember our loved ones who have died. One of the traditions is to decorate sugar skulls (calaveras) to celebrate the sweetness of life (sugar) and the sadness of death (skulls)
I know! It IS awesome! I knew you would think so too.
Artisan made, what the hell is in it for you??? Using artisan made supplies for your jewelry means that you have something unique! It elevates your jewelry, tell your customers and admirers that you are using unique artisan crafted elements. PLUS, it's vitally important to support micro businesses (maybe including yours), these people use this business to support their family and take great care to create outstanding products for you.
