(1) fused dichroic glass cabochon Size: 30x32mm round 90COE Patchwork dichroic on Black glass under Clear glass Colors: Green, Purple, Blue, Silver and Copper
What can you do with fused glass cabs? They can be wire wrapped, epoxied to bails for jewelry, embedded in resin or polymer clay, used in mosaics or mixed media art projects, surrounded with beadweaving, fired with PMC, or even fused again in your own hot project! The only limit is your imagination :-)
ABOUT ME: I am Self-Representing Artist #F69 specializing in lampwork glass beads. I use Moretti/Effetre, CiM, Vetrofond, Double Helix, Lauscha, Reichenbach, Uroboros and Bullseye glasses. I have worked hard for four years learning this skill and building up my studio space to what it is today. I have moved from a hobbyist to a professional artist and am now helping support my family with my bead sales.
ABOUT MY WORK: My glass beads are soaked and cleaned by hand to remove the bead release. All of the photos are taken by me in my home studio and always depict the exact item for sale. All of my lampwork glass beads are properly annealed in my Chili Pepper kiln for strength and stress reduction. Since they are made of glass, they should be handled carefully to avoid cracking, chipping or breaking.
If you are not happy with your purchase, I will accept returns within 7 days provided that the bead(s) are re-wrapped in their original box with the packing materials for protection. The beads will not ship safely in an envelope. Refunds will be for the entire purchase price, minus any shipping charges.
I use First Class Mail through the US Postal Service for all of my shipments. Prices are based on a national average at the lowest possible rate. I ship my beads with LOTS of padding and protection to greatly reduce the risk of damage or breakage during transit. Insurance for packages shipped within the US is available at an additional fee, but is not automatically included. Insurance for International packages is cost prohibitive and therefore not offered. Please understand that once a package leaves my hands it is the responsibility of the USPS to deliver it correctly and safely. Reports of damage or loss must be addressed with your local carrier. A reasonable transit time for US packages averages 4-5 business days, and International transit times are 3 or 4 times longer depending on their destination. All of my packages have a tracking number which I will be happy to provide upon request.
Currently I am accepting payments through Etsy and PayPal only. PayPal payments should be made within a maximum of 48 hours after purchase. Electronic Checks through PayPal must complete clearance before your package is shipped. Etsy Payments are handled through Etsy and take multiple business days to process. Once Etsy has credited my account with the funds, I will ship your package. Please be aware that this will delay your shipment by (on average) 5 business days from the date of purchase. For faster (24 hour) shipment, please use PayPal to pay for your order. If there are any delays with payment that you'd like to discuss with me, please send me a message within Etsy and we will customize a schedule. If an order is not paid for within 5 days of purchase, and no contact has been made with me, I will cancel the transaction.
Returns & exchanges
Sometimes a return has to be made, and I understand. Please contact me right away if you'd like to return an item - I will accept returns within 7 days of shipment. Refunds will be given when I receive the package containing all of the original contents. Please be sure to return the item in the sturdy cardboard box you received from me, with the padding that I included. All returns will be handled individually, so these statements are simply general guidelines - the details of your personal return/refund will be determined between the two of us :-)
I am currently not accepting custom requests at this time. I have found that only a very small percentage of custom orders are ever actually purchased. I also do not offer my beads at special "wholesale" discounts. My beads are created one at a time by me, not mass produced or purchased from others and then resold in my shop.
