PDF Sewing PATTERN for a Panda, Raccoon, Rabbit & Mouse hand puppet.
In the late 1980's I worked as a graphic designer for a craft company. This company produced large amounts of tole painting books and I thought it would be great if they would branch out into other areas. With enthusiasm I made these puppets (with 12 others) and presented my designs to the executives. They loved them, but thought they were for a different market. So the patterns sat in storage collecting dust for 20+ years and my children have long since worn out or lost my prototypes. Luckily I took pictures and I hope you enjoy bringing them back to life.
These easily animated hand puppet toys are around 12 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The main notions are: felt, fake fur, pompoms, and animal eyes or buttons. These can be substituted to create a different look.
