What will you make with this beaded bead and its cute little leaves? A brooch? A barrette? Or maybe a necklace, wrist corsage, or bridal headpiece? The beaded bead is only 2cm across, and the leaves are 2.5cm long. Once you learn how to construct them, you can scale them up or down by using larger or smaller beads, or different numbers of beads; go ahead and experiment, the options are endless! This pattern is suitable for intermediate and advanced beaders; you should know RAW and peyote stitches before beginning this project. Knowledge of MRAW is helpful, but not required. (This beaded bead is a variation of my beaded bead that appeared in Beadwork magazine in 2012. This pattern contains diagrams not present in the magazine, and instructions for making the leaves.)
