My wife & I found out about The Moringa Tree while on vacation in Maui about 5 years ago. We planted the seeds at our home in Arizona and they grow very well here in the desert as you can see in the photo's. I have put some photo's to show you how I started them from seed. These are the seeds that you will be getting. They are the best that I have found.
If you grow to sell the plant they are selling for around 8.00 to 10.00 on craigslist. Also the oil sells for around $10 Ounce.
Moringa is drought resistant, and thrives in intense heat. The nutritious leaves can be eaten raw, or cooked like spinach. It can be dried and powdered, then the powder can be added to other foods to increase their nutritional content. The seed pods "Drumstick" can be used like green beans or asparagus.
Put seeds in cup with water for 24 to 36 hours. Then place the seeds into the clear container with a damp paper towel and place in a dark warm place. Open and spray seeds with water every 2 days or as needed. They will sprout in 2 to 3 weeks. Then put sprouts into a small pot. In Arizona I water everyday but it is very hot in the summer.
I get about 80% of seeds to sprout. If you need any help feel free to email. This is a Tree everyone should have in there Garden.
