Pattern written in UK English language.

Patchwork Judy C02 Baby Dress Knitting Pattern.
This pattern was designed to use up oddments of yarn.
The skirt is knitted in faux patchwork with a picot edging hem.
The design uses 7 different colours although this could be altered to suit.
Instructions come to knit in sizes 14" chest which fits premature/Newborn babies, 16" chest which fits newborn/3months babies, 18" which fits 3/6 month old babies and 20" chest which fits 6/12 months old.
Although the pattern gives instructions to knit with (UK) DK double knitting yarn and 4mm needles it has also been successfully knitted using 4.5mm needles and Aran-Weight yarn which comes out at 22" chest and would fit 1/2 year olds.
Its a really fun project to knit and there's room for a lot of variations for example knitted a plain bodice or a seed/moss stitch bodice or knitting the 2 sleeves in different colours. Uses less than 50g of each colour. A great way to use up pretty yarn oddments. Use odd buttons ribbons and embellishments to finish.

This little dress is darling! I'm looking forward to knitting it and using up some yarn leftover from other projects.
