Complete PDF pattern for making a hand-sewn felt penguin.
The Adelie Penguin is based on the Adélie species of penguin, Pygoscelis adeliae, which lives on the Antarctic coast. You can see her perched in Camden's Harbor Park and Amphitheater. Penguins mate for life, and would make a romantic ambassador for a wedding or Valentine's Day. At home in the cold, penguins can also represent winter and cooperation as they flock together to keep warm. Your penguin would make a great craft project, winter decoration, homeschool inspiration, gift, or companion. Cute and fun everyone! Each animal you make will have its own charm.
This pattern makes a penguin that is 2.75 inches tall and 3 inches beak to tail. You could scale the pattern with a printer or copier for a somewhat different size.
