Currently, I ship via USPS Priority mail for most domestic items. For international, I usually ship First Class International. Domestic items will include a tracking number in most cases, however there is no tracking options available for First Class International.
For lighter, smaller items, I usually ship USPS First Class (jewelry, scarves, etc). For larger, bulkier items, I may consider UPS or Fed Ex for shipping. I reserve the right to change carrier without notice.
If you would like insurance on your package, please let me know before you order so that I can add the cost to the shipping price. Orders over $200 will automatically have insurance added to them.
Same for if you would like expedited shipping or prefer another carrier or service for either domestic or international!! I am totally flexible!
I do my best to ship items the next business day after payment is received, so that you can receive your treasure as soon as possible!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Additional return information
I understand the difficulties associated with purchasing clothes online, especially vintage, therefore, I offer returns for domestic purchases. It is your responsibility to pay for shipping both ways, however. Item must be returned in the same condition as stated in the original listing. Please contact me within one week of delivery date to arrange a return. Returns and refunds will not be honored outside this window of time.
**International sales are not refundable or returnable.**
No returns on items labeled "as is", sewing patterns, jewelry, hats, purses, scarves and other accessories or housewares--these sales are final, unless in the case of a gross misrepresentation.

Remember, vintage clothing has been worn, loved, and stored for several decades! I try to do my best to take accurate photos and write the best descriptions I can, however, sometimes an imperfection (ie: tiny holes or spots of discoloration) will go unnoticed. If you have a problem with your item, please contact me ASAP!
Vintage patterns show more wear and tear to the envelopes and tissue. Crinkles, small tears and creases are to be expected, as well as small tears, cuts and holes in the tissue. Any major flaws will be noted in the listing, however, some flaws may go unnoticed.
Please make note that color may appear differently on your monitor due to varying calibration settings.
Items are labeled with small, medium, large, etc. descriptor. This is meant only as an approximation. Please compare the actual measurements of a garment to a similar item you already own for the the best fit. Remember, these measurement are of the piece, not body measurements! The measurements of my dress form are bust 34", waist 25", hips 34". Garments may or may not be pinned back to show fit.
For all my clothing items, I lay them flat and measure. For the bust, waist and hips this measurement is doubled. Also, don't forget to leave some wiggle room and be aware of how the garment is supposed to fit (loose vs form fitting). I try to specify this in my listings the best I can.
Buying clothing online can be tricky--don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, more measurements, or concerns!
Most items are washed by hand in house, with the exception of heavier items (wool coats, etc), delicate items that are not washable, and items that clearly state "dry clean only". At this time, I do not dry clean these items. If you have any questions about whether an item has been cleaned, please contact me.
Vintage clothes often have different smells attached to them than new clothes (even after washing!). I do my best to air them out and wash when appropriate, but it is expected to linger a bit. Additional airing out may be necessary. Sunlight does vintage clothing good!
