The Welsh dragon is an iconic symbol of Wales and with this set, we offer it in 2 sizes.

The full-size stamp is a brand new, top quality maplewood-mounted rubber stamp, indented on the sides to give a firm grip. The image size is 1-1/2" by 2"

The mini stamp gives you a perfect accent design. Use by itself or make repeat impressions to make borders. Cute for a little "bullet." It measures about 1/2" and is mounted on a wooden dowel peg. See our photo above for more size information (using another design).

The Welsh dragon as a symbol of Welsh national independence was mentioned as early as 800 A.D. The red dragon symbolized the struggle between the Britons & Saxons and was an emblem adopted by Welsh princes. Today it is the most prominent symbol of Wales.

Use these stamps for travel & genealogy scrapbooking and papercrafting...hand-made cards, special note paper, gift tags, envelope decoration...use your imagination! Stamp the larger stamp with black or gold metallic ink for an outline and fill in with red, or stamp in red and add different red tones for a monochromatic look.
