A wrap of elegance that whispers of the turn of the century. A good choice if you are a beginner at lace knitting. Instructions are written out-with no charts. We created two versions, one in Scarlet Fleece Ewe Silky Thing yarn-50/50 Silk & Merino (3 skeins in Claret found at www.ScarletFleece.com)
The second version is knitted with Sweet Tree Hill Farm handspun Angora blended with a bit of silk noil. I am spinning this yarn often-so check in our Handspun Yarn section or convo me for a special request. This version used fiber from our blue bunny, Sapphire. But we currently raise, in addition to blue, lilac, black (really dark gray) chocolate and fawn. 2 skeins required

US 8 needles used, finished blocked stole measures 16 inches by 63 inches.

Average review
I haven't yet cast on, but am anxious to use the wonderful angora from this shop to make a comforting, warm shawl.
