Hmmm which vest should I wear today?

The PDF file comes with a materials and tools list, nifty stitch tutorials, full-size pattern pieces, and easy-to-follow colored instructions to guide you every step of the way in making a gingerbread man (8 cm or 3 inches tall) and his vests.

You are welcome to sell items made using my patterns in your shop. I would be grateful if you could offer design credit to typing with tea in your written description.

Please do not redistribute or reproduce patterns without prior written consent.

Thank you and happy sewing!

I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS FOR THIS PATTERN!!
Feb 7, 2017 by Chrissy Goodrich
This little guy is adorable and turned out beautifully. The pattern instructions lack the detail to make it suitable for a beginner. Actual photos of the head being attached to the body, and more precise guidance for the placement of details such as the eyes and bowtie would have been helpful for me. I made him as described (super adorable). Then I made a second one, reversed the vest, cut the "neckline" lower, widened the lapels a little, stuck on a button, put the bow on the head and now have an almost painfully cute couple.

The pattern was great, well written with easy instructions and helpful stitching options. I just had a problem attaching his head correctly on my first try. So I attached the head to the pattern in my 2nd try and added a little smile. I also shrunk the head a bit beforehand by 10% via seller's recommendation when I asked and it worked out great! Need to work on stuffing him better. So this will be next year's gift for my friends and family.
