These colorwork mittens are simple enough for knitters new to colorwork, yet interesting enough for those more familiar with it. Directions include both written and charted instructions for stitch pattern.

-worsted/Aran weight yarn such as Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100% Merino; 210 yards [192 meters]/ 3.53
ounces [100 grams])
- Color A - 60 (100, 125, 150) yards [55 (91, 114, 137) m]
- Color B - 25 (40, 65, 75) yards [23 (37, 60, 69) m]
-US size 8 [5.0 mm] or size needed to obtain gauge - double pointed needles or long cable for magic loop
-US size 7 [4.5 mm] double pointed needles or long cable for magic loop (optional – see note about ribbing)
-2 Stitch markers for marking end of round and thumb increases
-Scrap yarn or a stitch holder for holding thumb stitches
-Tapestry needle for finishing
x-small (small, medium, large) or child (teen/adult S, adult M, adult L)
To fit palm circumference: Note-these mitts are slim fitting, so if you are in between sizes, size up.
