This colorwork cowl works up nice and quick, and is simple enough for knitters new to colorwork, yet interesting enough for those more familiar with it. Directions include both written and charted instructions for stitch pattern.
Materials: worsted weight yarn such as Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted (75% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 5% Nylon (Polyamide); 200 yards [183 meters]/ 3.53 ounces [100 grams]) • Color A: 175-200 yards [160-183 m] • Color B: 95-110 yards [87-101 m] -US size 8 [5.0 mm] 32” [80 cm] circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge -US size 7 [4.5 mm] 32" [80 cm] circular needle (optional) -Stitch marker for marking end of round -Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Finished Size: The finished measurements as written are 27-29” [69-74cm] in length and 9.25” [24cm] tall/deep.
Gauge: 10 sts & 14 rows = 2” [5 cm] in stockinette/colorwork pattern in the round
