Pie Plate - Large Ceramic Brie Baker - Stoneware Plate - Russet Brown - Altered Rim - Handmade Baker - Wheel Thrown Stoneware Pottery Plate

This handmade ceramic baker is handmade of a stoneware clay and is wheel thrown and altered by hand in my own studio. It is glazed in a layered tomato red and tenmoku glaze. It was fired to cone 10 in a reduction environment.

This baker would be great for a large loaf of brie or a side dish. It was thrown on the wheel and I then I altered the rim by hand. The baker is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe as well. It can be used in the oven, but only if you put it in a cold oven and let warm up with the oven. This should be done with all ceramic pieces.

It measures 9 inches across. It measures 1.75 inches high. It holds about 18 ounces.
