**These make wonderful gifts, fill the jar with candy or snacks. A lot of people put fun dry ingredients inside the jar so cookies or cakes can be made. There are even recipes to bake a cake or bread right inside your jar, then give to that special friend! GREAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!**

**At a quilt show a couple of months ago, I found that quilt artists were using Neocolor II crayons on quilts. So, I have started making machine embroidery designs that can be colored with Neocolor II crayons. I was told to heat set with an iron, after the fabric had dried. After experimenting, I found that this process did not set the design. So, after playing around I have found that heat setting with an iron and then spraying with clear acrylic sealer does make the article permanent (tried on off-white cotton muslin only). If the item is laundered very much, I would re-spray after a couple of washes, just to make sure the color stays on the fabric. You use the crayons just like kids crayons, but the cool thing is that they are water soluble. I use a Q-tip with water to blend and make wonderful watercolor effects! You can use a water brush, but beware it allows more water and the color will spread outside your design area.

I can save the designs in any of the following formats: .ART (versions 1,2,3,4 or 5), .PES, .PEC, .HUS, .PCD, .PCQ, .CSD, .SHV, .EXP, .DST and .AMT. You will need computer software that will allow you to send the design to your embroidery machine.

Upon payment the design(s) will be emailed to you along with instructions for making the jar cover (with photos-so it is easy to follow!) If you would rather receive a CD with the designs please add $3.00 for the cost of CD and 1st class mailing fees. ($3.00 within the 48 states, not including Hawaii or Alaska.) If you live outside the US and would like the design emailed that is great. However, if you would like a cd mailed, please contact me for a rate.
