Terry Wolff has developed a series of woodcarving knives known as the Wolff Magic Knife and the Wolff Detailer. Of these, the 1 inch Wolff Magic Knife is the most versatile for making straight and curved carving cuts. Although originally designed for woodcarvers, the Wolff Magic Knife is ideal for many other craft jobs including leather pattern cutting, finish woodworking, cutting shapes in green ceramic, carving signs as well as wood and the carving of foam. Its blade is 1" wide and is made of 1095CV high carbon steel and riveted to a maple handle.
The Wolff Magic Knife comes in five different blade sizes starting at 3/8 of an inch. Terry also makes three different style Wolff Detailing Knives for woodcarvers. They include the straight blade detailer, the curved blade detailer, and the French Curved blade detailer.
