Select between a foil packet or a flip top tube to keep handy to apply a Tattie to dress up that little girl for any occasion.
Surgical jelly for use in adhering Tatties to baby's head. I prefer it for newborns: Cover entire back of Tattie with the jelly, apply a thin layer of jelly to baby's scalp where you want to apply it, let it get tacky for 5 seconds or so and put the Tattie on that area. Use your fingers to shape the Tattie to child's head and let dry.
Video instructions for application and removal with the gel can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnxZONJE7BE
Other popular adhesives (must be safe for baby and water soluble) Karo Syrup Elmer's glue glue stick honey Please note that not all adhesives work in all climates. For example karo syrup works excellent in desert dry climates (such as Utah) are not great in Humid hot climates (such as Florida). The Surgilube works everywhere as far as I know.
To Remove: Saturate with water till the Tattie slides of the head or hair, clean off "sticky" agent from Tattie by rubbing with fingers under running water and press Tattie between a towel to get out excess water and let air dry. You can apply a Tattie when it is still damp if you are using the jelly.
