A pdf tutorial for nested triangle earrings, based on modified Peyote and herringbone stitch triangles*. The materials are NOT included.
The earrings need: 2 colours of size 11 Delica beads, approx 2 grams of each. 16 x 4mm round beads such as Swarovski pearls 2 x 4mm fine gauge jump rings (fine enough to pass through a Delica) 1 pair ear wires
The 8 page instructions include text and diagrams for making the triangles and assembling them. In addition to the beading materials you will need beading thread (Fireline, KO etc), size 12 beading needle and chain nose pliers. Some knowledge of Peyote stitch is recommended.
This tutorial is for personal use only, not for commercial reproduction in any form. By all means make as many earrings as you like for friends and family, even sell them to buy more beads (giving me credit for the design if possible). But please don't copy the pattern. If you want to teach the tutorial to a class all I ask is that each student buy their own copy from me. If you have any queries please contact me and I will be happy to discuss.
*My double-sided, filled triangle owes much to the inspirational work of Jean Power and her fabulous book Geometric Beadwork.
Lovely clear pattern and clever design. Lots of fun.
