Antique valentine from late 1800's to early 1900's. This little sweetie is a flat valentine with beautiful color: primarily turquoise and white with gold embellishment. The center decoration (glued) is of a youthful (despite the white wig!) couple in an embrace. The inside reads"True Love. Dear little maid to you, I send a little love; with just a little hope, your little heart to move. A little thing to thee, But sweetest joy to me." It is decorated with a beautiful and intricate angel design. The back reads: "Theckla Ethel Oltson" The scalloped edges retain their shape, and the edges are not bent. The condition is really good. It measures 5" by 3 3/8".
