Item details

**NOTE: This is for the KNITTING PATTERN, not the socks themselves**

This listing is for the Desiree Diamond Socks PATTERN which is a charted toe-up sock pattern using 2 different fingering weight yarns for Womens size Medium, knitted on two circular needles with optional size 6 bead work on the front of the socks. It features a diamond pattern on the front, a different diamond pattern on the foot and back, optional beadwork for the front diamonds, and a short row heel.

Desiree Diamond Socks is named for my childhood best friend who I met when we were in day-care many moons ago!

These are Fair-Isle knitted socks and the pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters, familiar with stranded colorwork techniques, basic beadwork and toe-up sock construction. Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot with easy to read symbols. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form and is downloadable.

FAQs

I strive to photograph each item as color accurate as possible, however each monitor will show the images differently. Please allow for some color differences due to the inconsistencies with monitor color calibration.

Handwashing all handmade and hand-dyed products in COOL water with a mild wool soap, then laying flat to dry will aid in prolonging the life of the garment. Using hot water can break the chemical bonds in the dyed item causing the dye to bleed, so please use cool water for washing.
