Are you new to hammering and don’t know where to begin? Or, are you an Advanced wirework Artist struggling to no avail to achieve a neat, flawless surface of your hammered wires without having to sand, polish and tumble it for hours or even days in your tumbler?
If so, it will be well worth investing just 5 dollars from your budget on My Hammering Method Tutorial, which will spare you many hours of hard work and frustration that you could otherwise spend on your next jewelry projects.

This Lesson is introducing to you My Hammering Method, a technique I came to develop after thoroughly studying and analyzing how the surface supporting the wires and the handling and movements of the chasing hammer could and will influence the neat, smooth, shiny aspect of the hammered jewelry pieces’ surface.
My goal is to teach you how to achieve the neatest, smoothest, shiniest, most flawless and closest to perfection surface possible every single time you hammer your wires.

To demonstrate my hammering method, I have been using silver plated wire (origin UK).
You could test your plated wire and if it responds to the hammering well then you could use it too or, if not, just opt for copper, bronze, sterling silver and fine silver wires.

So, the purpose of this tutorial is to SHARE with you the Secret behind my Hammering Method and Not to teach you how to make a finished product. I am giving you the technique; you supply your own creativity and imagination, using my Hammering Tricks and Tips for creating your own gorgeous jewelry pieces.

The tutorial is filled with information, tips, ‘tricks’ and advices on “how to”, all these supported by 12 crisp clear pictures (mainly close-ups) and 8 Diagrams with relevant explanations right beside them, spread along 5 steps, within 13 pages. The pictures can be magnified at least 400% with clarity.

• one piece of 18 or 20 ga round wire, either straight or modeled for practicing on it - length and kind of your choice - (could be a piece of scrap wire, leftover from your previous projects)
• three grades of sanding paper, coarse, medium and fine - not shown
• piece of denim fabric for final polishing - not shown
• couple of cotton pads and rubbing alcohol or baby wet wipes - for cleansing purposes - not shown
• last but not least, a little piece of a “secret”, inexpensive, easy to find in any stationery shop, material - disclosed within tutorial because it is part of my own Tricks and Tips :)

• Bench block
• Chasing hammer - flat head slightly convex and not the totally flat head kind!

IMPORTANT Note to Buyers:
The fourth and fifth listing pictures showcase a pair of Bell Flower Earrings, and have been uploaded by me to highlight the smoothness, neatness and flawless wire surface that you too can achieve for your flattened wires, simply by using my hammering technique.
If you are interested to learn how to model this beautiful pair of earrings, please check out “Bell Flower Earrings” Tutorial by me, here:

Awesome! I can't wait to try this technique. It's going to save me so much time-no extensive sanding away hammer marks. It's brilliant!
