Item details

This listing is for a complete pattern and tutorial for the soft-sole baby booties pictured above. This listing is NOT for a pair of shoes, but the pattern and tutorial to make them.

This pattern will make a pair of booties to fit12-24 months.

The actual (approximate) measurements of the finished shoe are:
Length: 5"
Widest width: 2.5"

The inspiration to make these came because my own baby girl loved to pull off her socks, and most baby shoes were either too stiff, too hot, and too easy to take off. So I created these shoes so she would have something warm on her feet, but not something she could so easily take off! When she wore them out in public I ALWAYS received compliments. My daughter wore them all day, through naps and through the house, and she was very happy and content in them. Other positives are that they are fully washable and non-leather for vegans.

DISCOUNT available if you buy both patterns (size 6-12 months and 12-24 months) Enter code 15PERCENT. You must have both patterns in your shopping cart for the code to work.

This pattern and tutorial was created and designed by me and is in PDF form. You will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view it. The free Adobe Reader download is provided here:

It is a good idea to save the PDF pattern to your computer or external storage. This pattern may not be sold or reproduced.

As is standard with online patterns, I do not offer refunds.
The pattern fits on two 8.5 x 11 sheets and the tutorial includes pictures and instructions. Basic sewing skills are a big plus for this pattern, but don’t let that hold you back if you are new to sewing. I got my start by grabbing a pattern and wrestling with it until I figured it out .

This pattern is for PERSONAL USE ONLY of which home business products is included. No mass commercial production is granted with the sale of this pattern. If you use this pattern for home business sales please do me the courtesy of including a link to my etsy shop on your sales listing and give me credit for the pattern design.

Average review
This pattern is easy to follow with good pictures and explanations. I found it was easier to sew the back of the boot on first and then add the toe. I also pinned the sole to the top with the pins inserted in the sole and then turn the whole thing over and sew the sole on from the top. ( pins underneath )
