ALL CUSTOM ORDERS REQUIRE A 100% UP FRONT PAYMENT. You will receive a proof before final work has started. If you are not happy with a proof, you have two more proofs available (3 in all will be provided). Once you have approved the proof cancellation is no longer an option. Should you not approve the proofs, then your money will be refunded with a 30% fee deducted for time spent on the project.

The up front fee does not apply to minor design changes or personalization which is not considered a custom order if offered as a personalized product in the shop..

However the CUSTOM ORDER FEE (See Below) DOES apply to all custom orders.

The only increase in the cost would come with the necessity of any additional graphics or stock photos having to be purchased. You will be advised of the cost before any work begins. All work, even custom work, remains the property of Cooper Station. You are purchasing the rights to use the design, not the design itself. The copyrighted design belongs to and remains the property of Cooper Station.

TIPS & TRICKS:

Most Important: When cutting out....MOVE THE PAPER...NOT THE SCISSORS! It makes a huge difference in how easy it is to cut something out evenly.

In some instances when you begin to print it will appear that the picture is too large for the page. In this case you would want to choose borderless on your printer, and make sure that the box fit to frame is unchecked.

For all of the printables I would highly recommend that if you are using an inkjet printer you spray them with an artist clear coating. I like to use Krylon Satin Finish. I usually spray one coating, let dry for about twenty minutes, and then spray again.

Inkjet printers spray the ink onto the paper as opposed to laser printers which actually melt the ink into the paper. The result is that one will easily run, and the other won't. If you want your printables to stay crisp, then spraying them is the least expensive way to go. If you prefer you can always purchase waterproof paper for inkjet printers, it's a little pricey, but if the cost is not a deal breaker, the waterproof paper is the best choice. POPCORN BOXES: If you are putting popcorn into the POPCORN BOXES, you might want to either line the container with wax paper or place the popcorn in a little plastic bag before putting into the popcorn boxes.

TEA BAG ENVELOPES: On most of the envelopes I have left the top flap a little longer. This is to make it easy for anyone who would like to use decorative scissors, border punches, etc for that special finish.

PAPER: If you are making cards or double sided printables that need to be sturdy, cardstock is a good choice, however, if you need photo quality, a good double sided photo paper is the best choice. You can find ROYAL BRIGHTS double sided photo paper at many stores or online for a really reasonable price. The reason I suggest this is because most regular photo paper has the company name or logo on the reverse side, and you really don't want that.

PINCH BAGS: If you are making pinch bags I've found that using little Velcro dots on the inside of the front flap gives a much more finished look to the bag. You can find these at any craft or sewing shop. They have adhesive on the one side which makes it very easy to stick. In addition you can put a little adhesive on the front of the flap and tack on a bow or some other cute embellishment.

Almost all of the printables can be personalized. If this is something you may need regarding a listing, please be sure to ask before purchase. It can most often be done with no additional charge. Many of the items you see in the shop, such as invitations can be purchased in quantity with a special Quantity price. Please convo me with the details as to how many you would need.

*******PLEASE REMEMBER************** This is so important if you don't want any colors to run. if you are using an inkjet printer it is probably best to spray your projects with either a clear acrylic sealer, Matte not glossy (Plaid makes a very good one that you can get in any craft store) or hair spray if you don't have a sealer.

While almost all of my creations are digital. I do create some magnets, bottle cap pendants and pocket mirrors.

FOR MY CUSTOMERS WHO MAY HAVE ALLERGIES.....Cooper Station is a smoke free environment. We do have cats. They are not however allowed in the workroom, and in addition, they have all signed a pledge to smoke outside.
