These are beautiful handwritten grocer's tags from the 1940's and 1950's from California grocery stores. They were kept as records for charging groceries. Each family had their own book with their name listed on the end cap and they cleared their accounts when then had some income. They are aged to a golden patina, blue carbon on the back and some have tattered edges. The listing is for four tags and you will receive an assortment but not necessarily the ones pictured. These are great for many projects…collage, scrapbooking, altered art and mixed media. Be creative and enjoy!
