Yes, you can make this lacy necklace! If you know how to do basic beading stitches (RAW, Peyote, Fringing, Square Stitch) and are comfortable following beading diagrams, then you are advanced enough for this project. If you know RAW, you can learn MRAW; this necklace uses a fun, layered version of MRAW to make flexible ropes that keep their shape while laying softly around your neck. Once you learn this technique, you may never CRAW again! This bead-woven necklace has the look of fine lace because it is constructed using techniques similar to needlepoint lace. As shown, it is 18.5” long; it can be made longer or shorter by adding or removing links.

What an amazing pattern! There was one or 2 places where the wording wasn't clear to me (probably because I had spent too many hours beading -- I could not put this down), but the diagrams were well done and eliminated all of my questions. Editing to add that it hangs very well when worn!
