I love high tech and smartphones, and I love low tech knitting! Here they meet in a cool smartphone cosy pattern. This one is inspired by traditional knitting patterns from the Faeroe Island, that little group of islands North of the Shetlands and West of Norway.
The smartphone cosy fits most phones and is a fast and fun knit. If you are new to double pointed needles it might feel very fiddly to start with, but hang in there and you have soon completed your first project on double pointed needles!
If you have loads of little left overs of yarn this is for you! To make the cosy you need less than 25 g of each colour. Get started and knit up those gifts!
The two other smartphone covers you see in photo four and five are knitted using patterns in my book "Knit Nordic" (Anova Books, 2013).
IMPORTANT: By purchasing this pattern you agree to the following: This pattern is for personal, non-commercial use only. It may not be sold in full or in part, and products made using this pattern may not be mass produced. All commercial use, as well as reproduction, publication, or distribution (including distribution of the digital file) without permission of the copyright owner is prohibited.
I love the design that recalls the blouses of the women's costumes of the Faeroe Islands. The project is well written and explained step by step, and it is also very nice graphics PDF!
Ideal to make some last minute Christmas gifts, thank you!
