A 100+ piece collection of ephemera containing an archive of information relating to the 1960's / 1970's makers of Filipino horror/terror exploitation films, Hemisphere Pictures & Sceptre Industries. It includes information to and from influential Filipino film guru, Eddie Romero (said to have been a big influence on Quentin Tarantino for his Grindhouse film!)
Collection includes everything from press kits, movie posters and unusual advertising gimmicks to hand written correspondence letters, attempts for investors, investment and production information, story board outlines, agreement pages and movie corrections, all on official company letterheads for gems such as Brides of Blood, Blood Fiend, The Beast of Blood Island, Blood Drinkers, Black Cat and MORE!
This lot speaks volumes as a strange glance into the inside working world of horror film making from the 1960s & 1970's. Camp & gore galore!
