This is the moss we use by the bale at Succulent Salon! It is a lightweight natural moss that can absorb up to 20 times it's weight in moisture and is naturally anti-bacterial. An excellent medium for making succulent wreaths, centerpieces and terrariums, it can also be used with "air" plants to form a nest when attaching them or for propagating orchids.
What you will receive is a 4 ounce ( 1 gal. ziploc) bag of moss via Priority Mail 2-3 day. This moss can be used either wet or dry. To wet simply submerge it in water for a few minutes and then squeeze out the excess moisture before using. It can be used dry as a filler atop the soil in potted succulent gardens and even glued into floral arrangements.
Really, the unique properties of this moss make it so versatile that someone is constantly discovering a new use for it!
Thanks for browsing my shop and please return often as I am always adding new things.

Shipping & policies
Most items will be shipped Mon.-Wed. via USPS Priority Mail to arrive in 2 to 3 days or Fedex to arrive in 3-4 business days depending on the size and weight of the order. However, these times are NOT guaranteed by the shipping services so if expedited shipping is needed, please contact me for details. “Hold for Pickup” or “Signature Required” can also be added by request.
Shipping costs for larger wreaths are set at East Coast rates from California. If your order has a western U.S. destination you may send me your zip code through the custom request button and I will quote you an adjusted rate. During heavy shipping seasons, e.g. in spring, some orders may be sent out on Saturday to arrive early in the following week.
You will be emailed a confirmation and tracking number and when orders are shipped. Plants will only be sent to states within the continental U.S.; shipping to Hawaii is prohibited. Alaska residents must request a quote on shipping prior to ordering.
FALL/WINTER SHIPPING to COLD WEATHER AREAS
The succulents I offer are growing in a temperate climate zone and most of them are frost tender. I will check the weather forecast in your area as a guideline to assess the feasibility of shipping, however I cannot be held responsible for damage in transit due to cold. Please use caution when ordering live plants when your day temperatures are below 40F. Thank you for understanding.
SUMMER SHIPPING DURING HOT WEATHER
Live plants can sometimes sustain damage due to excessive heat in transit. Every effort will be made to avoid such a situation, however I cannot be held responsible for damage in transit due to heat. Thanks again for understanding.
Succulent Salon accepts all forms of payment. Custom pieces will be constructed upon receipt of payment. Please allow me time to build the piece and for rooting before shipping. This may take as little as 3 weeks or as long as 8 weeks depending on the type of planting. Feel free to email me for a more specific time frame on a custom piece.
Sales tax of 7.5% will be added automatically to California residents during checkout.
Returns & exchanges
My items are made from top quality plants and materials. I'm experienced in packing live plants but cannot be held responsible for delayed shipments once they have left my facility. Please follow the care instructions for plants, wreaths, etc. and contact me if you need additional input. Buyers assume responsibility for maintaining the live items once they are received. If dissatisfied with an item contact me within 10 days of receiving and I will gladly negotiate an equitable solution. No credits will be considered without the notification within 10 days.
In the case of moss forms and other non-living craft components that prove to be unsatisfactory I will refund the purchase price if returned within 7 days. Return shipping will be the buyer's responsibility.
