Item details

The Vesta fingerless gloves have an alternating stockinette and seed stitch cable pattern running the length of the top sides of the gloves with a textured seed stitch forming the underside of the gloves. The seed stitch pattern provides enough stretch to fit a range of hand widths. It is easy to to adjust the width of the gloves by adding or subtracting repeats from the seed stitch section of the gloves -- just make sure that stitches are added or subtracted by multiples of 2 stitches.

Sizes: S (7-8"), L (9-10") in width around palm; 7" in length. Yardage needed depends on size of gloves knitted.

Yarn weight: Fingering/4 ply (Sock weight)
Yarn used for pattern: Cascade Yarn Heritage Silk, Vandyke Brown, 1 Ball
Yardage: 165 - 250 yards
Needle sizes: US 3 (3.25 mm)
Gauge: 14 sts and 27 rnds = 2" in seed stitch
